Celebrating the Class of 2020

We are thrilled to honor the achievements of the class of 2020 with a formal commencement ceremony that will take place during Reed Reunions, June 9–12, 2022. It will be a pure joy to welcome this class back to Reed, and the ceremony will be nothing short of spectacular. Family members and the Reed community are welcome to attend.

We expect to have a formal announcement with the details of the event by February 2022. Although we will need to remain flexible in our planning because of the pandemic, we are hopeful that the stars will align in 2022, and we will be able to hold the long-awaited in-person ceremony for this class.

If you have questions or suggestions regarding the celebration or would like to volunteer on the Reunions committee for the class of 2020, please contact alumni@reed.edu or 503-777-7589.

While the pandemic prevented Reed from holding a traditional Commencement ceremony in May of 2020, Reed was able to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the class of 2020 virtually. Highlights are below.

Virtual Thesis Board: class of 2020

The Registrar's office typically celebrates each senior who hands in their thesis by adding their name to the thesis board in Eliot Hall. This public display of accomplishment wasn't possible in 2020, so we created a virtual thesis board.
