Daniel Shaw is a yoga instructor, mindfulness teacher, and end-of-life doula based in Portland, Oregon. His work integrates mindful movement, breath awareness, rest practices, and skills drawn from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), informed by his own lived experience of grief, recovery, and spiritual inquiry. Daniel completed a 300-hour yoga teacher training in 2023 and trained as an end-of-life doula through the University of Vermont. He is currently pursuing an M.A. in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University. His teaching emphasizes accessibility, embodiment, and sustainable practices that support nervous-system regulation and well-being amid the demands of contemporary life.
