Laleh Khadivi ’98 selected as commencement speaker

The senior class selected the 2016 commencement speaker, Laleh Khadivi ’98, and we look forward to welcoming her back to campus on May 16!

An award-winning author and filmmaker, Khadivi received a 2016 National Endowment for the Arts Grant and a 2016 Pushcart Prize for her story Wanderlust. She graduated from Reed in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Comparative Policy Studies and from Mills College in 2006 with a Master of Fine Arts in English.
