Weekend & late night programs, Gray Fund, clubs & organization support, event planning support

Amanda (she/her/hers) was raised in San Diego, CA and Lake Havasu City, AZ, but considers Denver, CO her home away from home. She earned a B.S. in Women's and Gender Studies from Northern Arizona University in 2010 and spent summers in Upstate NY serving young people as a camp counselor and Assistant Director of Camp Wawayanda at Frost Valley YMCA. Amanda earned a Master's in Counseling with an emphasis in Multicultural Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver in 2018. While at CU Denver, Amanda nurtured her passion for Student Affairs and worked collaboratively with students through the lens of student organization and Student Government advising, campus-wide events/programs, and development of a pilot fraternity and sorority life program for an urban, commuter campus. She strongly believes inclusive co-curricular student engagement opportunities provide space to uplift student voices, build leadership skills, and create positive and productive change. In her free time, Amanda spends time cooking, reading, exploring Portland with her husband, and snuggling with their dog, Maxwell.

Sabrina Murray (She/Her) is a proud Washingtonian and loves to spend time with her partner, family, and friends. Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology with minors in English and Ethnic Studies from Lewis & Clark College (LC) in Portland, Oregon. Sabrina’s lived experiences as a transracial adoptee (TRA) influence her passion for social justice work. Sabrina’s mentor from LC was another strong motivation for her to pursue a career in Student Affairs. After receiving her B.A., she went to the University of Maine to pursue her Master’s of Education in Student Development in Higher Education with a concentration in Multicultural Student Development. During her time at UMaine, she was an Assistant Community Coordinator in Residence Life, an intern in UMaine’s Office for Diversity and Inclusion, Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes, Office for Student’s Rights and Responsibilities, and at Central Maine Community College helping establish diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. As a TRA scholar, Sabrina’s first published work is out now in the E-Book “Transracial Adoptee and Multiracial Perspectives: Navigating Higher Education Spaces as Our Authentic Selves.” Her next publication will be coming out in the Fall of 2023 in “Blurring Boundaries and Binaries: Belonging, Gender, & Mixed Heritages in Higher Education in the United States.”
