Bookstore website
As a non-profit, institutionally-owned entity of the college, the bookstore is here to support Reed's educational mission. All of your textbooks and school supplies can be purchased here. Some of the services we provide include textbook reservations, textbook buyback, textbook rentals, bookstore accounts, special orders, and a textbook scholarship program. The bookstore also features a varied and in-depth selection of general books (all sold at a 10% discount) that supports and expands upon topics presented in the Reed curriculum. The bookstore will gladly special order books if what you want is not in stock. Most books arrive within one to three days of ordering.

Besides books, you will also find software and computer supplies, dorm and school/office supplies, Reed clothing, greeting cards, gift wrap, candy and snack items, and Reed gifts ranging from coffee mugs to decals to Reed ties. Other essential items we carry are bicycle and computer locks, computer bags, some over-the-counter medications, and personal care items.

Homer's Hut: For late-night Reedies there is Homer's Hut, our on-campus convenience store. It is open everyday during the academic year from 6 pm to 2 am (5 pm – 2 am on Saturdays and Sundays) and will provide you with a wide variety of healthy snacks, frozen foods, drinks, and plain old junk food, as well as a basic selection of dorm and personal care items. DVD rentals are also part of our late-night offerings.

Student Charge Accounts: One of the bookstore services which has proven to greatly simplify student life is a bookstore account; the student need only present his/her student ID to the cashier when making purchases. The student charge account can be used both in the bookstore and in our nightly convenience store. Monthly statements which summarize each purchase are issued, but detailed copies of the charges (which items have actually been bought) are not mailed with the statement. If a parent would like to see what items were bought, we encourage the student to send copies of their receipts to the parent (students are required to have their receipts for returns or exchanges). Bookstore student charge accounts can be set up free of charge.

Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.

You must keep your receipt in order to receive a full refund for any merchandise and books purchased at the bookstore.
