Monetary and Fiscal Policy

Fall 2012

Jeffrey Parker, Reed College

Policy Simulation Teams

It was not possible to assign all of you to your highest choices. (Not everyone can be the ECB or Germany!) In some cases, no one requested a country that was important to have represented.

Here are the assignments for the project. I have assigned three students to Germany and Greece, given their prominence in the crisis, and two to other countries and roles. You first deadline is submission of a report on the role of your country/institution in the current situation: historically, currently, and prospectively. This report is due on October 26, the Friday after fall break.
