English Department Student and Faculty Gathering: Come talk about the vagaries of Portland weather or other hot topics

This event is open only to current Reed students and faculty.
Bring your questions and conversation. Come mingle with faculty for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or even an hour this Thursday afternoon, refreshments included.
English majors and prospects are invited to a reception with faculty this Thursday, Oct. 10th, 4:15-5:30 pm in Eliot 314.
There will be a brief, 5-10 minute, presentation at 4:15 pm by a recent recipient of an Eddings Opportunity Grant, explaining his experience and use of the grant funding. This is followed by an opportunity to ask faculty about possible courses for next year, potential thesis topics, Eddings Opportunity Grants, good reading material, the vagaries of Portland weather, and other things you have wanted an chance to talk with faculty about. Or, just take 5 minutes to stop by for a bit to eat. We hope to see you there!
