CLBR Celebrates the 80+ Recipients of Reed's Internship Awards and President's Summer Fellowship Funding

This summer, Reed students will embark on self-directed projects ranging from gender-affirming health care to bridging age-based intergenerational divides. Meanwhile, others will engage with the Portland community by interning for local organizations, including SCRAP PDX, Portland's VA Health Center, Catholic Charities of Oregon, and Portland Refugee Support Group. These experiences are made possible by the deeply important work of Reed's college relation's staff and the donors who believe in the power of a Reed education! Click here to explore the variety of funds available Reed students or email us at beyondreed@reed.edu today to learn more!

Other ways CLBR is Supporting Reedies

Explore our Advising Curriculum! Designed and implemented by our advisors in 2022, this rubric makes each stage of professional development more visible to students, and offers clarity about how they can advance their understanding of their purpose, skills, resource-use, and the transitional skills needed to navigate workplaces during and beyond Reed.

Thank you for sharing this rubric with your teams, and especially with the students with whom you engage. Another way you can support the Reed student(s) in your work-life include sharing our new Career Quest Quiz. Help our students explore the advisor that best matches their learning style and professional interests! Have you taken the quiz? Learn which CLBR staff would be your hypothetical match today!
