Film Screening: Jodhaa Akbar (2008)
Join us for "Jodhaa Akbar" (2008) on Monday, April 16, at 6 p.m. in psych 105.
Screened for Rel. 131: Introduction to Hinduism, but free and open to the public. Come eat samosas, drink chai, and enjoy the movie!
"In 16th century Rajasthan, Princess Jodhaa (Aishwarya Rai) is unimpressed with Emperor Akbar’s (Hrithik Roshan) proposal for marriage and political dissolution into the Mughal Empire. The Emperor’s choice of a Hindu bride isn’t sitting well with his Muslim advisers either. The resulting epic romance could be the most challenging campaign of their lives."
