Farm & food education plus local food production: Zenger Farm Shares (EBT accepted); Lents International Farmer's Market, Healthy Food on Budget; food security in Lents & Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhoods; farm field trips & summer camps; farming internship, etc
My Street Grocery
Mobile grocer and pop-up market, founded by a Portland college student: affordable, fresh food; meal kits; Central City Concern collaboration, etc
Groundwork Portland
Environmental justice work: urban waters program via Portland Harbor Community Coalition and brownfield remediation via Emerson Street Garden & East Portland Brownfield Project
Upstream Public Health
"Improving health one policy at a time," including food & nutrition focus: Farm to School; sugary beverage limits; food & water access; food system planning; school nutrition standards, etc.
Oregon Public Health Institute
Policy leadership via systemic perspective: healthy eating & housing, urban food codes, farmers markets, SNAP outreach, nutrition standards, menu labeling, etc.
