Reed Theatre: In/divisible

Friday & Saturday, Thursday–Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Diver Studio Theatre

Do poor people pay the price for rich men's wars? "In/divisible" is a compelling look at what it means to be a U.S. citizen in this day and age.

This devised performance invites audiences to consider Congressman Rangel's (D-NY) proposal of requiring universal military service as a crucial step towards an equal citizenry, wherein, he argues that unless and until we all bear the burdens of war equally, we'll preserve an unjust and imbalanced system in which poor people, do indeed, pay the price for rich men's wars.

What does it mean to be a citizen? What ought it mean? As citizens of the U.S., what do we owe one another, if anything?
