The Muses are Calling You Back to Reed. REUNIONS 2009.

Epistemology forever!

No togas were spotted, but Reunions 2009, June 2-7, reveled in 100 years (well, almost) of Reed myths, rituals, and rites of passage. Check out the candid highlights as well as class photos. If you took snapshots that are now posted online, feel free to share them with us at alumni@reed.edu.

Go to the online directory in IRIS to keep up with friends that you saw on campus, and contribute your memories of the weekend (or your old school days) to Reed Stories.

Milestone classes

This year celebrated the reunion years ending in 4 and 9: 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, and 2009. You may view class photos from all of these years.

Save the date

Move over muses: it's technology time!
We can never truly push the muses aside, but we will focus Reunions 2010, June 1-6, on what some might call the artes physicae or the quadrivium—in current terms, the production of scientific knowledge. While we'll focus on the sciences, there will still be plenty of food, drink, music, and dance to keep the humanists happy. For a general idea of the spectrum of activities, you may peruse the Reunions 2009 schedule.
