First Year Work-Study Job Matching Program  

Information for supervisors 

For the 20-21 academic year, the Student Work Office will be running a first-year work-study job matching program. The goal of this program is to increase access to jobs for incoming students with work-study and more equitably distribute student jobs across campus. Supervisors can sign up to have positions filled through this program, and incoming students with work awards will be invited to apply to this program in August. The student work coordinator will match these students with the available jobs on campus through a streamlined application process.  

We are asking supervisors to sign up to have as many open, entry-level positions as possible filled through this program to help students with financial need get positions this year. Please note that if you plan to fill positions using this program, you do not need to post your positions on Handshake! See the links above for more detailed information about the program. 

To officially sign up and indicate the positions that you would like to fill using the matching program, please complete the supervisor sign-up form. You may submit jobs to this program at any point during the academic year.
