Yoga: for Relaxation

Yoga for relaxation
This class uses simple breathing techniques and yoga asana to calm the body, nerves and mind. Props will be used in Restorative Yoga themed classes to support the body as the student surrenders all effort and the desire to be active. In other classes, students will be guided through a variety of gentle Hatha Yoga poses with attention to breath and movement. Short guided meditations, mudras and other relaxation techniques will be introduced over the course of the quarter. This class is awesome for the beginner as well as the more experienced student who desires to unwind after a long day. Yoga mats are provided.
