Friends of Zenger Farms

We are a working urban farm that models, promotes and educates about sustainable food systems, environmental stewardship, community development and access to good food for all. We are guided by a vision of a healthy, resilient community, where the wellbeing and prosperity of children and adults, regardless of race, geography or socio-economic status, is enhanced through access to affordable, plentiful and nourishing foods. We believe nourishment is a basic human right.

Rahab's Sisters

Rahab’s Sisters creates community through radical hospitality with those marginalized by poverty, houselessness, sex work, violence and substance use. Founded in 2003, we believe community is a basic human need essential to well-being, and that everyone deserves to feel they belong somewhere. Radical hospitality strives to break down barriers of fear, shame and judgment and create a healing space where individuals feel valued and find solidarity with one another. Our staff and team are energetic servant leaders who seek to share humanity with one another. Our community is made up of volunteers and guests, each equally important in our space, sharing from and learning from one another. Rahab’s Sisters is a vibrant, unique organization that provides radical acceptance and comfort to those most in need, and especially for those who identify as a woman or gender nonconforming.

Liberation Literacy is a relational and hyper-localized non-profit. We strive to take back our communities by rebuilding the path of transition after incarceration, uplifting and empowering our abilities to heal, and dismantling the prison industrial complex. We utilize the power of conversations, personal experiences, and direct community action to work for and with those currently and formerly imprisoned in Oregon.
