When writing or designing on behalf of the college, posting to official social media channels, or shooting film or video on campus, consult the following resources and protocols to help your audience recognize you as “officially Reed.”
Writing & Editing
This editorial resource is intended to serve as a starting point for your communications. It includes both best writing practices and Reed's editorial style guide.
Public affairs has provided design standards for the use of logos, artwork, color palette, typography, and other key visual elements.
Photography & Video
These guidelines set forth expectations regarding the photography, videography, and recording of classes, meetings, or other conversations at Reed; offsite at college-organized events; over the phone between members of our community; and photography, videography, and recording arranged by Reed College officials for promotional purposes.
