Getting to Reed
Most students will arrive at Portland International Airport (PDX).
Airport Shuttle Service
On Monday, August 26, Reed will provide a limited number of free van shuttles between Portland International Airport and the college. Shuttles will depart at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:15 p.m. Use this signup page to reserve a seat in the Reed van.
If you are arriving at a time when our free shuttle is not available, see below or check the airport website for a comprehensive list of transportation options.
Reed is accessible via TriMet, Portland’s public transportation network of buses and light rail trains. Use their trip planner to find the most convenient route for your arrival time.
If you prefer to take a taxi from the airport, cab fare from PDX to Reed costs about $35. From downtown to Reed is about $20.
