COVID-19 Guidelines
See below for an abbreviated version of the guideline. You must read the full text in this link and attend a briefing given by the manager before coming to the LoL
Access to the sound booth and the LoL is subject to approval from the LoL manager and Director using a Google Form.
We strongly advise students to use remote data collection methods, as in-person data collection still poses a significant health risk for both you and your participant! Talk to us for suggestions and tips on how to collect good data remotely!
Before coming to the LoL
- Take the Daily Health Check (You must receive the green "Go" message)
- Contact the LoL manager to set up an appointment
- Talk to the LoL manager for a COVID-19 guideline briefing in addition to reading the pdf file.
- Wear a mask
While in the LoL
- Minimize the number of people present inside Eliot 101 at any given time.
- Whenever possible, maintain 6 feet of distance between people.
- Room occupancies:
- LoL (Eliot 101C): 2 persons (including sound booth)
- Sound booth: 1 person (when recording)
- Minimize the amount of time you spend in the LoL
- Wear a mask or face covering if there will be another person in the LoL.
- If you see someone not wearing a mask inside the LoL, please (POLITELY) remind them of Reed’s policies. If they continue to refuse to wear a facemask, please email the manager.
- The LoL will have single-use masks available in case people need to change their masks
- Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands
Equipment Access
We will follow the same process as previous years. You would need to contact the LoL manager via email to schedule an appointment for picking up and returning equipment.
For picking up equipment, please follow the same rules mentioned above in Before coming to the LoL section:
- Let the LoL manager know when you're 5 min away from your appointment
- Wear a mask
- No-contact pickup can be arranged
