COVID-19 Guidelines

See below for an abbreviated version of the guideline. You must read the full text in this link and attend a briefing given by the manager before coming to the LoL

Access to the sound booth and the LoL is subject to approval from the LoL manager and Director using a Google Form.

We strongly advise students to use remote data collection methods, as in-person data collection still poses a significant health risk for both you and your participant! Talk to us for suggestions and tips on how to collect good data remotely!

Before coming to the LoL

  • Take the Daily Health Check (You must receive the green "Go" message)
  • Contact the LoL manager to set up an appointment
  • Talk to the LoL manager for a COVID-19 guideline briefing in addition to reading the pdf file.
  • Wear a mask

While in the LoL

  • Minimize the number of people present inside Eliot 101 at any given time.
  • Whenever possible, maintain 6 feet of distance between people.
  • Room occupancies:
    • LoL (Eliot 101C): 2 persons (including sound booth)
    • Sound booth: 1 person (when recording)
  • Minimize the amount of time you spend in the LoL
  • Wear a mask or face covering if there will be another person in the LoL.
    • If you see someone not wearing a mask inside the LoL, please (POLITELY) remind them of Reed’s policies. If they continue to refuse to wear a facemask, please email the manager.
    • The LoL will have single-use masks available in case people need to change their masks
  • Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands
