Inclusive Reed: Community Discussions

We invite all Reed community members to a series of community-wide conversations this fall. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss our collective and ongoing efforts to build a Reed community in which all members can live, learn, work, and thrive together. These conversations are intended to give community members:

  • information about ongoing efforts to make our classrooms, workplaces, and other community spaces welcoming, inclusive, and anti-racist;
  • the opportunity to ask questions, get clarification, and raise concerns about college policies, procedures, and other resources intended to foster a more inclusive community;
  • a forum to talk together about ways to enhance our efforts to create a more inclusive community.

Each meeting will be organized around a particular topic or theme. Community members will have the opportunity to submit questions, comments, or specific topics that you would like to see addressed prior to each discussion. This will allow those who are less comfortable speaking in a large group format to communicate their concerns as well as make it possible for us to arrange the agenda to address concerns in the order that are most pressing to those planning to attend. RSVP and submit your questions below for each community discussion below.

All meetings are from 4:15–5:45 p.m.
