COVID-19 Prevention & Response Plan

Communications

December 8, 2020

Dear Reed students, faculty, and staff,

Prior to the start of the Spring 2021 semester, all students, staff, and faculty who will be accessing campus are required to obtain a COVID-19 test from Reed College. Reed community members who will not be accessing campus during the Spring 2021 semester are not required to complete testing. Several start-of-term testing dates have been scheduled for January 14, 15, 20, and 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sign ups for these testing dates are now available, and can be accessed at the link below.

In addition to these dates, testing is also available on January 11 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This testing date was added to accommodate staff, faculty, and students living off-campus who need to begin accessing campus earlier in the week. PLEASE NOTE: Move in for on-campus residents is only available on January 14, 15, 20, and 21 between 8 AM and 3 PM; if you are a student planning to move into campus housing, please sign up for one of these times.

Individuals continuing to participate in weekly surveillance testing during winter break should use this sign up to reserve a time to complete your routine test for the weeks of January 11 and 18. Reminder emails with this sign up will be sent again on Friday, January 8 and Friday, January 15.

Lastly, individuals only need to register for one testing appointment. If you have already signed up, please disregard this message.

If you have any questions regarding the spring return-to-campus testing plan, please reach out to the COVID-19 Risk Assessment Group at coroanvirusquestions@reed.edu.
