The Reed College 2010 convocation ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 25, at 4 p.m., on the south lawn. Lena Lencek, professor of Russian and humanities, delivered the annual Odyssey convocation lecture, and Stephen Arch, Laurens N. Ruben Professor of Biology, presented the Howard Vollum Award for Distinguished Accomplishment in Science and Technology to Brian J. Druker, Director of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and JELD-WEN Chair of Leukemia Research.
