Julia Reagan '12

Fulbright Program for U.S. Students

Julia will study the political fairy tales that appeared in socialist and communist journals, anthologies and other publications in Weimar Germany. She will explore
why authors and political activists turned to fairy tales to express their frustrations with Weimar politics and to arouse political consciousness and will evaluate how these authors revolutionized the fairy tale genre and the effect of their works on the public.
