What I Do Now
I am currently a McCormick Fellow and NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the pure math PhD program at the University of Chicago.
Value of the Experience
The effort I put into my Goldwater application, and the scholarship itself, were both enormously helpful in earning the graduate fellowships and admission to my top-choice graduate school. The Goldwater application process gave me valuable experience writing research proposals, and also helped me build closer relationships with the faculty members who assisted me. The scholarship opened doors in my undergraduate research, affording me richer research experiences.
