Where People Meet
In this technological age, we rarely sit with others communally and space for interaction has dwindled. We will experiment with building such spaces in the un- or under- used spaces of the art building. Can you make a space that you viewer/sitters/users are engaged not only with others, or in themselves, but also with the material semiotics and the phenomenological aspects of the space itself? You will learn to do simple drafting, build a model and use simple construction techniques to build an actual architectural scaled work.
