Objects and Spaces for Living
>The spaces and objects for living we build have many uses. They do not just hold us or take care of our physical needs, they give us rest, a mental space, allow us to feed our heads and bodies. A space or objects materials, forms, scale, color and light affect how we can be with in them.
Cabinets and cases are like rooms for objects. They embody their purpose. You will be trained to make a basic box. From this form begin to design a space/object for dwelling/encasing preserving holding a person/a being, a thing, or a collection of things. Following the earlier "form follows function" ideology, design a form that conceptually responds to the object(s) or space you will contain.
