The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is home to the Europe Japan Research Centre which hosts regular research seminars and events. In addition to our strong Japanese Studies course, we are one of the only Universities in the UK offering a specialization in the anthropology of Japan.
The faculty can nominate candidates for a Masters by Research for a studentship of £10,000, for the 2018/19 academic year.
