Oregon OSHA Update on Heat Illness Prevention
In response to recent extreme temperatures in Oregon, Oregon OSHA has adopted a temporary rule that strengthens requirements for employers to protect workers from the dangers of high and extreme heat. EHS has developed a resource webpage that covers the temporary rule requirements. All supervisors and employees are asked to review this webpage and the temporary rule as soon as possible. Please contact EHS@reed.edu with any questions regarding this new rule.
