Creative Writing Workshop with Write Around Portland!
SEEDS is pleased to host Jenny Chu from Write Around Portland for a creative writing workshop on Tuesday, September 29, at 6 p.m. PDT! Jenny was a Write Around Portland intern, then a volunteer workshop facilitator, and a donor and on-going advocate of the organization before joining the staff in November 2015. She’s currently on the board of PICA, and serves as a core member of AWE: Arts Workers for Equity. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Writing from the University of San Francisco.
During our event, everyone will participate in a 90-min creative writing workshop with timed free writes. There will be opportunities for participants to share and to give each other feedback. For the remaining 30 minutes there will be a Write Around Portland presentation with a brief Q & A at the end. This event is free and open to the public.
