Campus Announcements

I am delighted to announce that Kailee Himes (she/her/hers) will join the Office for Student Engagement as orientation coordinator. Kailee’s first day at Reed will be Monday, June 22. Her office will be in Student Center 122. 

Kailee is a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut with a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs. Kailee comes to us with experience in designing and implementing orientation, onboarding, and training programs at Washington University in St. Louis, University of Connecticut, and in the corporate sector at The Nielsen Company. 

At Reed, Kailee will create and implement orientation and transition programs to meet the academic priorities and student life transitions of incoming students. She will collaborate with many campus partners to ensure a seamless transition and holistic first year experience for new students.
