Student Life update
Vice President for Student Life Mike Brody is leaving Reed at the end of June, as has been announced previously.
Much of the transition work Mike had planned for his last couple of months at Reed had to be put aside due to the demands on his time as co-chair of the COVID-19 task force.
Now moving away from emergency planning, Mike will return his focus to preparing for his departure and his replacement's arrival sometime in August.
Cindy Anderson, Interim Dean of Students, has agreed to extend her interim role and responsibilities until the end of the calendar year. Cindy will assume day-to-day management and supervision of the vice president's direct reports, and she will step in to assist in overall operations in Student Life.
Mike will, of course, remain available to assist and consult as needed to ensure a smooth transition.
