Update from the Health & Counseling Center
In recent weeks, we have worked hard to increase our counseling staff in order to provide our full array of service options. As of this week, the Health and Counseling Center (HCC) is offering the following counseling services:
• Ongoing supportive individual therapy for students struggling with relationship issues, sadness, grief, loneliness, identity, depression, anxiety, adjustment to college, and other personal concerns.
• Mental health medication management
• Short term case management
• Assistance in connecting to community services and navigation of health insurance
• Crisis support
• Mind Spa
Our board certified medical staff will continue to provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care including the following:
• Primary care services (preventative health care, referrals to specialty care, etc.)
• Sexual health care (Pre-Exposure HIV Prophylaxis, sexually transmitted infection
screenings, etc.)
• Gender affirming care (masculinizing and feminizing hormone therapy)
• Contraceptive counseling
• Onsite lab work
• Immunizations
