Commencement Parking Reminder
Parents, friends, and family members will be arriving this weekend to celebrate with the class of 2019. Please help us welcome our guests to Reed! If you’re able to do so, please consider biking, walking, taking public transportation, or getting a ride to campus on Monday, May 20, in order to leave parking spaces for those attending Commencement.
If you do drive, please use the parking lots on the northeast corner of SE 28th & Steele or the Reedwood Friends Church. Shuttle service will run from these parking lots to Eliot Circle between 8:15–11 a.m. and 1:30–5:15 p.m. If you plan to drive, we’d appreciate it if you’d take a moment to email cep@reed.edu to let us know where you’ll be parking so we can plan our shuttle service most efficiently.
Everyone who uses alternate transportation or parks in one of the shuttle lots will be eligible for raffle prizes! Conference and Events Planning will email staff and faculty the day after Commencement and invite you to enter the drawing.
