Debating for Democracy (D4D) On the Road workshops offer tactics and strategies to advocate for issues that matter to you. The February workshop will focus on three issues: Racial Equity, Immigration, and Mass Incarceration. Through small group exercises, the daylong session takes participants from researching a problem to analyzing solutions, developing strategy, building people power, and meeting effectively with decision-makers. Participants will leave with concrete tools, which they can put to use in a wide variety of public policy settings and efforts. The workshop will be facilitated by Beth Huang, Field Coordinator for Massachusetts Voter Table and facilitator with the Midwest Academy. Breakfast and lunch included; coffee at 9:30!
