SEEDS Community Engagement Opportunity: Wordstock by Literary Arts
On Saturday, November 11, 11:30 am–3:30 pm, Portland's book festival—an annual celebration of literature—will be held at the Portland Art Museum and surrounding venues on the South Park Blocks. It takes hundreds of dedicated volunteers to produce this festival, which features more than 100 authors presenting onstage events, pop-up readings, and writing workshops. Volunteer through SEEDS at this event as a Pop-Up Author Escort and be a “Museum Master” who know exactly the best route to take to get the authors to their artworks. Help guide the pop-up authors to their reading locations, support the author and audience’s needs, and report on each event.
