The college is open. Please use care and your best judgment when traveling to campus. Staff please work with your supervisor if you chose to delay the start to your day or work from home.

The decision to stay open, delay, or close affects many people. More information can be found in the inclement weather section HR's website.
We always communicate updates regarding delays or closure information for the campus to the Reed community via:
- the reed.edu home page and campus announcements page (this page);
- an email to the campus community at essential times;
- TV and radio station crawls (not always reliable).
To eliminate a high volume of calls to the Reed switchboard and to keep Reed's phone lines open for emergencies, we encourage everyone to use the above communication sources. However, if you do not have internet, email, or smartphone access from home, please call Reed's switchboard at 503-771-1112 for a status update.
