Symposium on ISIS & the Middle East with Reed faculty

This event is open only to current Reed students, faculty, and staff.

The Reed community is invited to a conversation, “ISIS and the State of the Middle East,” on Thursday, November 6 at 7 p.m. in psychology 105. A panel of speakers will include Fountainhead of Jihad author and Princeton Ph.D Candidate Vahid Brown '07, alongside Professors Kambiz GhaneaBassiri (Religion), Paul Silverstein (Anthropology), and Darius Rejali (Political Science). The symposium will feature a brief presentation by Vahid followed by an open conversation, so come ready to ask questions. Seating is limited, so please show up a few minutes early to make sure you have a spot, although there will be some standing room. Light refreshments will be available courtesy of Alumni Relations.
