F2 Golf in Parc Expose
Schnell Motortechnik is an Oregon-based team that competes in the exciting sport of stage rallying. The team was formed in 1996, with the pairing of driver Scott Fuller and co-driver Ben Bradley. Success was immediate, as Fuller and Bradley scored an overall victory in their first rally as a team.

The team has competed in three different VW Golfs since its inception. First up was the fire-breathing, supercharged G60 Rallye Golf, a car initially campaigned by Vince Wetton in the U.K. After a season in that car, the team switched to the competitive Group 2 class in a 1985 VW Golf, originally built and campaigned by Scott Hartmann. 1985 Golf Photo
The highlight for this car was a third overall placing in the 2000 DooWop ProRally. In 2001 the team unleashed its latest weapon, a potent F2 Golf III Kit Car. This car ran the 2000 British Rally Championship with Jock Armstrong behind the wheel. It was originally built as a factory team test car for Alister McRae and Tapio Laukkanen.

The Schnell Motortechnik team is a consistent front-runner in ClubRally events in the Pacific Northwest.
