Map 31

Visitors who
arrive at the Reed campus through the main entrance off Woodstock pass
by a beautiful collection of older trees. There are some large elms along
the street, a cluster of oaks beside the traffic circle, and two giant
sequoias in the middle of the map. Other notable trees include a hybrid
mountain ash (Sorbus x thuringiaca) that has bright red berries.
The sweetgums beside the main entrance were planted by former biology
professor Bert Brehm.
