Bragdon Hall is named after former Reed President Paul Bragdon, and its entrance is graced with several large attractive oaks. As the footbridge passes through the canyon south of the dorm, it gives a close-up view of several large bigleaf maples (not shown on this map).

The two sugar maples in back of Bragdon Hall were planted in the spring of 2002 in memory of Ben Eder, a former Reed student.
