Reed Union on Sustainability
Tuesday, February 10, 7:30 p.m.
Eliot Hall chapel
With a new administration in Washington and global warming posing an ever-growing challenge, what should Reed be doing to improve its environmental sustainability? Does the responsibility to be “green” lessen in times of economic hardship? Have your say at the next Reed Union on “The Sustainability Challenge.” Join college president Colin Diver, student body president Devin Judge-Lord, sustainability committee chair Bob Kaplan, canyon keeper Zac Perry, University of Oregon sustainability coordinator Steve Mital, and others for an evening of frank (and moderated) discussion. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Reed Union Committee chair Brian Radzinsky.
About the Reed Union
In 1947, faculty, staff, and students came together and founded a forum for important questions of specific relevance to the Reed community. Known as the Reed Unions, these are moderated discussions featuring panels of experts in dialogue with members of the audience.
