| Name | Native American Students at Reed (NASAR) |
| Description | Portland has the 9th largest Native population in the United States. Reed's peer institutions all have some kind of student-run group for Native students that provides the larger collegiate community with an avenue to respectfully explore and celebrate Native culture. We are proposing that Reed supports the creation of a Native student group, the first of its kind in the history of Reed that will be open to all students, faculty, and staff. A staff advisor from the Office for Institutional Diversity (Caitlin Bergeon) has volunteered to oversee and help support the organization's events and membership as it aligns with the office's mission. |
