Low SES & First Gen Student Group

We are a student-run peer support group for students who are the first in their family to go to college and/or come from low-income/working-class backgrounds. Our mission is two-pronged: we strive to build a healthy and supportive community where we can address the difficulties and values of our backgrounds and we gather resources to help bridge the class-gap between us and our peers. Our events will be evenly split between resource-focused workshops and casual community time. We are here to organize and guide, but we take our directives from our members, so if there's something you want from this space, let us know and we can help you make it happen!
