Coach Mike DeLoy is new to Reed College for the 2009-2010 school year. A native of Denver, he traded the Rockies for the Cascades in 1998 when he enrolled at Oregon State University. He played Ultimate with the Beavers for five years, captaining the squad for two of those five years. His capstone accomplishment was leading the team he helped build to the West Coast Regional finals in 2003. Since then he has played at the elite level with several Portland mens teams. He remains committed to advancing the values of Ultimate as described by the Spirit of the Game.
