Stuart started juggling as a Reed student in 1978, and has been juggling at Reed since then. He is a regular workshop leader at the annual festival of the International Jugglers' Association, and has contributed articles, reviews and photos for Juggler's World and Juggle magazines. He is the founder and executive director of the Portland Juggling Festival. By day, Stuart is a mild-mannered software engineering consultant.
