Betsy Ullstrup

Instructor of:

Yoga for Life

Betsy fell in love with yoga in 1998 when she took her first yoga class in Phoenix, Arizona. The transformational effects of the practice eventually led her to her calling as a teacher and healer. She received her 500-hour training and Certification from YogaWorks while living in southern California and has been teaching group and private yoga since 2006. Her classes provide a unique opportunity for people to find joy and freedom in the practice with a thoughtful blend of safe alignment, focused breathing, inspirational music and words of wisdom. Inspired by the wise and lovable Erich Schiffman, she encourages her students to listen from within and connect to a deeper state of consciousness. It is an honor for her to be able to guide people on their path to health and well-being, whether it's a vigorous vinyasa flow or a therapeutic restorative class. Betsy also holds a degree in biology and has a passion for nature, plants, birds, shamanism, neuroscience and other wonders that keep her in tune with the prana of the universe.
