Software Design Studio

SDS Advisory Council

The SDS advisory council is responsible for providing strategic guidance and support for the Software Design Studio and works with the SDS Coordinator to ensure the success of the three-year pilot program (2015-2016-2017).  Council members are appointed to one-year, renewable terms.

The responsibilities of the SDS advisory council include:

  • providing guidance on SDS goals and activities

  • helping to identify and recruit mentors

  • providing philanthropic support

  • identifying job opportunities for SDS students and young alumni

  • meeting twice-yearly at Reed to review the status of the SDS

The SDS advisory council includes Reed alumni and others who have distinguished themselves in the field of technology.  Reed faculty and staff serve on the council in a support capacity.
