Office of the Registrar
Transcripts and Grades
Official Transcript Ordering Information
According to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, all transcripts must be released with the consent of the student (or former student). Because of this, we need to have your signature on a request in order to release your records. Don't forget to sign your request!
For your convenience, if you click here you will find a fillable .pdf form that you can complete on your browser. We suggest that you use Adobe Reader (available below) to access the form as Apple’s Preview application can complicate this process. After the form is filled in, click the "Print Form Now" button (at the bottom of the page) to print the document. You must then sign the form and return it to the Registrar's Office. You may always fax, scan and email, or take a picture of the form and send as a .jpg in order to save time. If you prefer, you may also print the blank form and complete it by hand.

Paying for transcripts
Transcripts cost $3 each for regular handling, and $5 each for rush handling. A regular order takes three to five working days to process upon receipt of a request, and a rush order takes approximately one working day to process. Rush mailing can also be arranged, and incurs an additional charge (call for exact fees and mailing options). We can take payments by cash, check, or money order. We are unable to accept payment via credit or debit card. If you are faxing or emailing your request, please send your payment by mail; we will release the transcript before we receive payment.

This is the Grades at Reed card that accompanies transcripts (pdf file) to give the recipient a better understanding of the Reed grading system and lack of grade inflation.
