New Trustee Joins Board

Peter C. Stockman ’77 was appointed to the Reed board of trustees in February. Stockman is a management consultant specializing in the financial services sector. From 2003 to 2007, he was partner at PA Consulting Group in its financial services practice, where he led the capital markets team. Previously, Stockman was a partner with Accenture. His work has focused on strategy, operations improvement, and risk management for commercial banks, investment banks, institutional asset managers, and energy companies.

Stockman earned a B.A. in anthropology from Reed in 1977 and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago in 1987. He is a member of Reed’s campaign leadership gifts committee and was a member of Reed’s former national advisory council. In 1996, he received the career services volunteer award from the Reed alumni association. As a member of the board of trustees, he serves on the budget policy committee and the development committee.

Peter Stockman’s wife, Terry Stockman, received B.S. and M.A. degrees in economics from West Virginia University. She has been a management consultant with DRI and PriceWaterhouse, and served for five years on the executive staff of Citicorp’s Global Corporate Bank. The Stockmans live in New York City.
