Nell Givler was on exhibition at the Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery
this fall. William Givler (1908 2000) was a Portland artist who
became a teacher and dean at the Museum School (now Pacific Northwest

and on the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Artists represented in
the exhibition included Odilon Redon, Paul Gauguin, Käthe Kollwitz,
Hans Sebald Beham, Rembrandt, Lucas Van Leyden, and John Marin. |
