In all offices for which there is only one nominee on February 15, the nominee shall be considered elected as of that date, except that the alumni trustee nomination must be approved by the board of trustees.

Additional nominations for each vacant position may be submitted by petition from the membership. Said petitions must contain the name and a brief biographical sketch of the nominee, the office to be filled, and the signatures of 50 or more members of the association. Petitions must be received in the alumni office on or before February 15.

Call for alumni award nominations

The alumni board invites nominations for awards to alumni volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the college through their volunteer efforts. Non-alumni community volunteers are also eligible for the outstanding volunteer award.

The deadline for submissions is December 11. Submit nominations in writing to the alumni board via the alumni relations office. You can also email nominations to alumni@ reed.edu. For more information, please call Marianne Brogan '84, director of alumni relations, at 503/777-7593.
